The Family Rock was founded in June of 2017 by Marcie Cramsey and exists to help families do life better by illustrating God’s word using real stories.

Moses sang, “God is the Rock, His work is perfect; all His ways are just, He is the God of truth and without injustice; righteous and upright is He.” (Deuteronomy 32:4). Likewise, Solomon uttered, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are protected” (Proverbs 18:10).

We cannot go wrong when the family is strengthened by The Rock!

Since the beginning of time, the family has been God’s idea – His best work! He blessed the family so that they would bear fruit, multiply, fill the earth, and rule over His creation. (Genesis 1:28). Therefore, this great work of His must be cultivated like a precious garden; it must be tended to so it will reap a bountiful harvest.

The Family Rock encourages families to take active steps toward a deeper and richer faith in Jesus Christ while also strengthening the family bonds with each other. Because The Family Rock ministry is unashamedly Christian, it is a place of mercy, compassion, and understanding.

Through blogging, writing, speaking, and coaching, it is a privilege to serve you and your family. In her writings, you will read real stories of Marcie’s life and the many families she has met along the way in ministry. Connecting each story with God’s word, you will gain insight into how God’s power can lead your family through anything!

In addition to writing, Marcie is a Life Coach for families. Helping people get from where they are to where they want to be is her passion. Whether that be in marriage, divorce care, or parenting, she wants people to experience God’s power and grace. You can check out her life coaching page here.

Marcie encourages community, therefore, she encourages you to join the conversation online by joining The Family Rock Facebook group here
